This is another photo from an unknown source. It's of a girl who appears about 6 or 7 y.o. standing in front of some kind of fruit tree. The name on the back is Karen L. Rood. There is no date.

Stewart, Young: January 1958
This photo is from an unknown source. It is of an adult woman, 2 preschool looking boys, and a girl who looks about 6 y.o. It was developed in January 1958. On the back it says Valerie & Kevin Stewart (or Stemart, hard to read), and Julie and Leonard Young.

This is another photo from an unknown collection. It is labeled John, Peggy, Mike Shannon. It looks like Peggy has a birthday cake on her high chair tray.

Hearst: June 1957
This photo is from an unknown collection. It was developed in June 1957. On the back it is labeled "Mrs. Hearst, daughter, and granddaughter". Then there is a note that says "babysat Bryan".
Zouber: December 20, 1951
This photo is labeled on the back "Ma Zouber on Vacation, Dec 20, 1951. McArthur Park, Al Jolsen in cemetery." According to findagrave.com Al Jolson is buried at Hillside Memorial Park in Culver City, Los Angeles County, CA. He died in October 1950, which is a little more than a year before this photo was taken. So I'm not sure why the notation on the photo says Al Jolson is in the cemetery in McArthur Park.
Mr. Bemus, 1935
This photo from an unknown collection is labeled Mr. Bemus, Allen, and Bunny. On the back it says "My father and brother. My brothers are 11 (hard to read) and 15 (hard to read) years old. You will be my sister."
Tiberino Family
The next several photos I'll be posting became separated from the album or collection they were with so I don't know the original location. This photo appears to be 1950's.
It is labeled on the back: Pop-Pop Tiberino, Matthew (2 y.o.), Michael (6 y.o.), Janet (1 1/2 y.o.), Mom-Mom (or Maw-Maw), and Mark (5 y.o.). The photo was taken on Matthew's 2nd birthday.
Update: 25 September, 2019: I still have this photo awaiting return to a family member.
Update: 17 December 2020: I believe these children have the last name Kalnas. I found this news clipping about Michael and Mark Kalnas, and it mentions that their grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Tiberino. They were in the Trenton, NJ/Philly area.

New Mexico 1951
These 2 photos are from Kenneth Olmstead's photo album and were taken in the autumn of 1951 in New Mexico. He was on the way to moving to Arizona for his asthma but seems to have spent several months in New Mexico.
One photo is labelled Betty and Nura Toyler (or Joyler), taken in Albuquerque in October 1951.
The 2nd photo is labelled Gean Reed & Karl Dunken fixing truck, dated 9/26/1951. I wonder if Dunken might be Duncan as I posted photos yesterday from the same set of photos where there was a mother and children with the last name Duncan.

C.F. Stanford, Riverside, CA c1930: Kenneth Olmstead Album
Labelled C.F. Stanford, Riverside, California |
I cannot decide if this is also C.F. Stanford |
I believe the young man in the front is Kenneth Olmstead but I am not 100% sure |
Sinclairville or Gerry, New York Family: 1920 or So
This photo is from Kenneth Olmstead's album. I cannot identify the people. I scanned a smaller area to try and get a better image of the people but it needs photo editing, and I don't have such a program. The woman on our right, standing by the corner of the house, could be an Olmstead but I'm not sure. Other possible families are Damons, Strongs, or McCulloughs.
Updated 25 March 2015: Does anyone recognize the house?

Unknown Woman: Sinclairville or Gerry, Chautauqua County, NY: 1915
Unknown woman from Kenneth Olmstead's album. I do not recognize her as an Olmstead. Damon, Strong, McCullough are possibilities. Photo taken prior to Wallace's death in 1916.

Duncan Family: NM 1951
These photos are from Kenneth Olmstead's album. They were taken at a trailer park in or near Albuquerque, New Mexico in the summer of 1951. I do not know if this was a permanent trailer park or for those passing through. Kenneth Olmstead was driving from Western New York to Arizona. He may have spent several weeks in NM, there are quite a few NM photos in his album.
The mother's name in the photo is Ruth Duncan and her daughter Sheila Kay Duncan. The other photo is labeled Duncan Girls and friends. It would be great to find these girls and give them these photos.

Rev. Wm A. Fuller, Canisteo, NY 1950's
UPDATE: I located the death certificate and obituary for Mertie. She died in 1966 in Meadville, PA and is buried in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, New York. William Fuller died in 1972 and is also buried in Mount Adnah but I haven't yet located an obituary. It looks like they had no children. They married on 24 August, 1902 in Hannibal, New York.
Rev. William A. Fuller and wife Mertie L., taken on 53rd wedding anniversary in South Canisteo, NY. At some time, including 1953, he served at a church in Gerry, New York. The photo is from Kenneth Olmstead's album.
Olmstead/McCullough: Gerry, NY 1950
The woman on the tractor is likely an Olmstead or a McCullogh, possibly a Damon. The photo was taken in August 1950 at the farm of Clifford McCullough in Gerry, Chautauqua County, NY.

Old Photo: Kewaskum, WI
I have ignored this blog much too long, time to return.
I bought this single photo about a year ago in Tomahawk, WI. There is no name on it. It was taken in Kewaskum, WI at a Miller Studio. My guess is that it is a confirmation photo, judging by the dress, shoes, and what look like a Bible in her hand. I would love to see this photo returned to the rightful family.
